How we time casino withdrawals
Reviewed by Jesper Johanson · How we review · · 18+
We measure withdrawal speed the same way a player experiences it: request the money, note the time, wait, and note the time again when it actually arrives. No estimates, no operator-supplied figures presented as our own.
Protocol
1. Fund a real account
We sign up and deposit at the operator like any other player, using a real payment method available in that market. We do not use test/demo accounts — the timing has to reflect what a real player experiences.
2. Complete KYC before requesting
When the operator requires identity verification, we complete it before requesting the withdrawal and log the completion time separately. A withdrawal delayed by KYC is not the same measurement as one delayed by payment processing, and we do not blend the two.
3. Request the withdrawal and log the timestamp
We record the exact date and time we submit the withdrawal request, the amount, the currency, and the payment method used.
4. Log the timestamp funds are confirmed received
We record the exact date and time the funds actually land — bank confirmation, wallet balance, or card statement — not the operator's "approved" or "processing" status, which can precede the money arriving by hours or days.
5. Publish elapsed hours, sample size, and the test date
The published figure is receivedAt minus requestedAt, in hours. We show the median, fastest, and slowest across every test we have for that operator, plus how many tests that is — never a single test presented as a general claim.
Retesting and staleness
Payment rails and processing times change. A test older than 90 days is flagged internally as due for a retest, and on the results page as (due for retest)next to the operator's figure. We do not remove old data — we mark it and keep testing.
What this is not
This is not a guarantee. Your own withdrawal time depends on your KYC status, the payment method you use, the amount, and the operator's current processing load — our figure is a real, dated sample, not a promise about your specific withdrawal.
This is not the operator's marketing claim. We do not publish "instant" or "fast" because an operator says so — see our full review methodology for how withdrawal speed factors into a casino's overall score.
Withdrawal times FAQ
- How does AskCasinoAI measure withdrawal times?
- Direct answer: We request a real withdrawal at a partner operator, record the timestamp, and log the timestamp again when the funds are confirmed received. The published figure is the elapsed hours between those two timestamps — not an operator's marketing claim.
- Why do some operators show no withdrawal time?
- Direct answer: We only publish a figure once we have completed a real, verified test for that operator. An operator with no listed time is marked Not verified rather than given an invented "fast" claim.
- What counts as a stale withdrawal-time test?
- Direct answer: A test older than 90 days is flagged as due for a retest. Payment rails and processing times change, so we do not treat an old single test as still current.
- Does a fast measured time mean I will get paid that fast too?
- No. Our figure is a real, dated sample from our own test — not a guarantee. Your own withdrawal time depends on your KYC status, payment method, amount, and the operator's current processing load. Complete identity verification early to avoid delays.
